THE MOST KNOWN MURAL OF GLOBAL PANDEMIC IS GETTING LISTED ON OPENSEA!

In the March 2020 Los Angeles based artist Pony Wave responded to the global pandemic by painting “Stay Safe” mural on the Venice Art Walls (Venice Beach, CA). The image of two people kissing while wearing floral designed masks seemed to symbolize the perfect depiction of love in a time of corona. It immediately went viral and become a voice of strength to Covid- 19 Pandemic. Check the original post.

The mural has become an inspirational symbol at the beginning of the pandemic. The creative response from many artists all over the world was huge. It was repainted in many countries and was often used in the media.

In 2021, the one of the largest US embassy in Beijing, China used a reproduction of the “Stay Safe” on the main wall of the embassy building, where an exhibition Art For The People dedicated to the global pandemic was held.

People were sharing photos and videos of the mural. By this artwork you can see the story. You can see what people were going through, what touched people’s hearts. And this is the only way to see it since original mural is no longer exists.

Canvas paintings of the mural were bought by collectors from Paris, Monaco, Japan and more.

There are no more originals of “Stay Safe” painted by Pony Wave.

Pony Wave is a world-famous tattoo artist who discovered herself in the tattoo industry working in a realistic style specified on detailing.
